นอกจากนี้การนำเทคโนโลยีเว็บ 2.0 มาใช้งานยังช่วยให้สามารถนำเสนอเนื้อหาที่เป็นวิดีโอหรือมัลติม ีเดีย ได้สมบูรณ์แบบมากขึ้น และมีเนื้อหาและบริการที่มีความหลากหลายมากขึ้น รองรับกับความต้องการของผู้ใช้บริการอินเตอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูง หรือ บรอดแบนด์ มากขึ้น
นายปรเมศวร์ กล่าวต่ออีกว่าการเปลี่ยนแปลงดังกล่าวยังทำให้รูปแบบโครงสร้างร ายได้เปลี่ยนตามไปด้วย โดยคาดว่ากระปุกดอตคอมจะมีรายได้จากการโฆษณาผ่านทางออนไลน์เติบ โตเพิ่มขึ้น เนื่องจากมีรูปแบบการโฆษณาที่หลากหลายมากขึ้น โดยต่อไปสามารถนำโฆษณาบนทีวีมาโฆษณาผ่านเว็บไซต์ได้ทันที
นอกจากนี้กำลังอยู่ระหว่างการทดลองให้บริการกระปุกกุ๊กกิ๊ก หาเพื่อน หาแฟน โดยผู้ใช้บริการสามารถส่งข้อความสั้นหากันในกลุ่มได้ ซึ่งกระปุกดอดคอมจะมีรายได้จากการใช้บริการของสมาชิก โดยต่อไปจะพัฒนาให้ผู้ใช้บริการสามารถส่งข้อความผ่านเว็บไซต์ โดยใช้โทรศัพท์มือถือ เป็นช่องทางเก็บค่าบริการจากลูกค้า
นายวันฉัตร ผดุงรัตน์ กรรมการผู้จัดการบริษัทอินเตอร์เน็ตมาร์เก็ตติ้ง จำกัด เจ้าของเว็บไซต์ชื่อดังพันทิปดอตคอม www.pantip.com กล่าวว่า การแข่งขันในการให้บริการเว็บไซต์ค่อนข้างรุนแรง โดยเฉพาะการรุกเข้ามาของเว็บไซต์ต่างชาติ ซึ่งในส่วนของพัพทิปดอตคอมเอง ก็พยายามปรับตัว โดยนำเสนอบริการใหม่ๆ ซึ่งขณะนี้อยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนาบริการสนทนาผ่านทางออนไลน์ ที่มีลักษณะคล้ายกับ เอ็มเอสเอ็น หรือ บริการด้านเสียงผ่านอินเตอร์เน็ต หรือ ว้อยท์โอเว่อร์ไอพี (VOIP) ขึ้นมาให้บริการสมาชิก พร้อมกับไปการพัฒนาความเร็วในการเรียกข้อมูลของผู้ใช้บริการ และความมาเสถียรภาพของเว็บไซต์
ด้านแหล่งข่าวจากเว็บไซต์ www.mthai.com ในเครือโมโนกรุ๊ป กล่าวว่าช่วง 1-2 ปีที่ผ่านมาธุรกิจดอตคอมทั่วโลกกลับมาอีกครั้ง หลังจากชะลอตัวไป 5-6 ปี เมืองไทยเลยได้รับอานิสงส์จากการกลับมาเติบโตของธุรกิจดอตคอม ทำให้ปีนี้จะเห็นการขยายเข้ามาของเว็บไซต์ใหญ่ๆจากต่างประเทศค่ อนข้างมาก อย่างไรก็ตามเว็บไซต์ของไทยเองต้องมีการปรับตัวเพื่อรองรับการแ ข่งขัน เพราะลำพังเงินทุน และเทคโนโลยี เว็บไซต์ของไทยสู้ต่างชาติไม่ได้เลย โดยเฉพาะเงินทุนสำคัญสุด
ส่วนเว็บไซต์เอ็มไทยดอตคอมซึ่งวางโพสิชั่นตัวเองเป็นเว็บไซต์วั ยรุ่นนั้น ที่ผ่านมาแบรนด์ค่อนข้างติดตลาด กลยุทธ์ที่นำมาใช้ คือรักษาฐานสมาชิกเอาไว้เพื่อให้สมาชิกที่เข้ามารู้สึกได้รับบร ิการใหม่ๆ ทุกวัน ซึ่งขณะนี้อยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนาบริการในรูปแบบของวีดีโอ เพื่อรองรับการเติบโตของอินเตอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูง หรือบรอดแบนด์
